Papermaking: Sculptural Techniques with Hemp

This workshop draws on the rich history of hemp fiber as a cordage, textile and papermaking material. Participants will look at historical and contemporary examples of fiber arts and explore the creative potential of hemp fiber through sculptural techniques that utilize cordage, textiles, and pulp. Experienced and beginning papermakers welcome.
