Pulping services at Flight Path Press are available for those who wish to have their own bought, grown, or gathered fiber prepared for hand papermaking at home.

 

The paper beater at Flight Path Press is a traditional style beater whose design originates from the paper beaters made in Holland in the 1600’s. The Reina beater can pulp up to two pounds of dry fiber at a time. Materials that can be pulped at Flight Path Press include 100% cotton or linen rag, store-bought fiber for papermaking such as cotton linters, flax, abaca, or hemp, as well as a wide variety of grown or gathered bast, seed, and leaf fibers.

Flat Rate of $40.00 for up to four hours. $20.00/hour for each additional hour.
